How i-Roomy started

The person who built it has been running an accommodation for over twenty years. In all that time he watched bureaucratic obligations grow year after year — guest notifications to the police, ISTAT data, tourist tax, calendars to sync, books to keep — until paperwork risked becoming the main job, taking time and resources away from real hospitality.

Having the technical skills to do it, he decided to build a tool that would help him. When he saw it worked, he decided to share it. That choice gave birth to i-Roomy.

A simple philosophy: help, not weigh down

i-Roomy is designed for small accommodations — Holiday Homes, B&Bs, Guest Houses, Rooms for rent, Agriturismi — places that offer authentic hospitality but don't have the financial and technical resources of large hotels.

Our mission is modest but concrete: to make day-to-day compliance simpler and to offer a window onto the web that is accessible to everyone, with no fees proportional to revenue, no percentages on bookings, no surprises.

It doesn't matter how many rooms you manage or how many bookings you receive — the price doesn't change. Because we believe that a useful tool should be accessible, not yet another cost to optimise.
